Ador Viktoria [of Send]
Ador Viktoria was registered under “Andersfarbige” (“Other Colors”) in DDSB Vol IX and described as “white-black-grey-blue spotted” (“weiss-schwarz-grau-blau gefleckt”).
Ador Viktoria was what is known in Germany as a “Plattenhund” – not with irregularly torn patches as in a true harlequin, but with large plates of color.
BOTH his parents and ALL FOUR of his grandparents were Blue carrier Harls - small wonder that he had black, merle, blue and white on his coat.
In spite of this odd coloring & pattern, Ador Viktoria was offered at public stud and was quite popular.

Ador Tipp Topp was a blue-ribbon winner at Westminster. After the Great Dane died, he was stuffed by a taxidermist at Yale, and eventually sold to a drama student for $10.
(Interesting that another harl, Dolf v. St. Magn, was also stuffed by a taxidermist at Yale.)
Warhol bought “Cecil” (which he called the Dane) for $300 in the late ’60s, believing he had once belonged to Cecil B. deMille
